Easy Installation, Short Battery LifeĪdding the Argus 3 Pro to my network was easy in testing. Here you can also adjust motion-sensitivity levels, create a camera recording schedule, and share access to the camera with friends and family. There’s also a gear icon that takes you to a Settings screen where you can check the battery life, configure Wi-Fi and display settings, create a custom alarm that will sound when motion is detected, view time-lapse video, and create alert schedules. In the top right corner of the screen are buttons for activating the spotlight and sounding the siren. The Playback button launches a timeline of captured video that you can quickly scroll through to find a specific event. Tap the Talk button to initiate two-way audio and use the Clip button to zoom in on a specific area of the video image. At the very bottom of the screen are Talk, Clip, and Playback buttons. Just below the live video panel are Start/Pause, Mute/Un-Mute, Snapshot, Manual Record, and Video Quality buttons. Tapping the camera panel opens a screen with a live stream that you can view in full-screen mode by turning your phone sideways. Each panel displays a still image of the camera’s last captured activity. The app opens to a Devices screen with panels for each installed Reolink camera. The Argus 3 Pro can be controlled with the Reolink app for Android, iOS, and Windows devices, and can also be accessed via a web browser. The Business plan costs $14.99 per month and comes with 150GB of storage with a 60-day history for up to 20 cameras. For $4.99 per month, the Standard plan gives you 30GB of storage with a 30-day history for up to five cameras, and the $9.99 per month Premier plan gives you 80GB of storage with a 30-day history for up to 10 cameras. The camera comes with a free Basic cloud plan that gives you 1GB of recorded video storage with a seven-day history for a single camera. It supports push and email alerts, and it offers a time-lapse feature that lets you view video in fast motion, but you need to install a microSD card for this. The Argus 3 Pro features intelligent motion detection that can differentiate between motion from people and vehicles.
